Organic SEO Services by Jan Hvizdak

I gave up development of the Cross-Linker plugin for WordPress as well as the Captcha Godfather plugin for WordPress because people are experiencing problems with compatibility. Well... I created these plugins, tested them, but I am not responsible for others' plugins nor for further development of WordPress. In fact, I hate WordPress and soon I will be upgrading this website and WordPress will be removed. Just one experience to show why I deeply hate WordPress: I've been commenting on blogs, but now I cannot. I cannot because about 50% of blogs return blank screen after submitting a comment. I don't know who fucked things up, but I know that without WordPress the world would be a better place. WordPress gave plenty of people a chance to blog. WordPress is also used for spamming purposes, is spammed and doesn't bring any additional value to the world. Plenty of crap blogs, unbelievable stories about how easy it's to make money blogging and such bullshits... WordPress is crap and am not going to use it any longer. It's the same story like with Windows OS. I had to remove it from my computer because it was fucking things as much as possible. I am a happy user of Linux for years now; No more Windows, no more WordPress. Consider quitting WordPress too. I am a coder so it's fucking easy for me to develop a core of my own blog, but even a "me not coder" can create some simple website which will replace WordPress shit. Oh, by the way... WordPress is very bad in terms of SEO. If you decide to donate, you're just saying thanks. All about donations and such things will be removed or modified as soon as I find some time to make some peace from the garbage left by WordPress.

Currently I am writing for blog at web-developers.net where I explain more about SEO, internet business, links and so on. Read why I am writing there. If you are using the Cross-Linker plugin for WordPress and if you want me to solve anything, then consider making a donation ($122 received until now; updated manually):

Website investment tips

How much do you want to earn from your website? Do you plan to spend more money than other people on your website? Are the SEO campaigns effective and improve them later?

Basically, there are a few scenarios how a webiste business goes. I’d like to explain why it’s needed to spend more money than expected. I’ll also ask why it’s needed to do SEO works even though the actual positions are outstanding. Let’s start from the strategies which are very promising, but aren’t effective and lead to bankruptcy.

  • 1) Buy/build a small website, buy/manage the links and wait for a miracle.

This strategy might for about 6-12 months. When you start a new website, you’ll start earning some money and you’ll start getting visitors. Look at the images below in order to understand how the trends will look like.

Badly done SEO campaign

As you can see, the number of visitors will raise until the site reaches some limit. This limit is the result of stopping any work on the site. Generally, this scenario perfectly fits MFA (Made For AdSense) website types, some poor directories, sites which are affiliated with some software, heatlh, or any other kind of products. Basically, people dream about huge income, but when they release the site, they find it very hard to establish themselves on the web market.

As time goes by, the number of incoming links naturally decrease and the popularity of such websites fall down rapidly. How to avoid this situation? Firstly, think of your website as a great project, which will bring information to the visitors. Even if you’re selling products, make sure that your website’s design is eye-catching and that your services are outstanding. When you reach the top, don’t stop and hire more people which will write some new content for you. Publish that content and make sure it contains useful information. For example, if you’re selling chairs, write about tips how to set-up a nice living room with your products. Create the images and photogalleries, show them to the visitors and let the visitors to post messages on your articles.

  • 2) Create a huge website, but no heavy SEO is done

Generally, this scenario is the worst possible. If you wait about a year until your site is finished and you’re not earning any money during the first 6 months, it’s very disappointing. Such projects are mostly very large informative databases dedicated to hobbies. Nowdays, anybody is able to buy or download a working script which means the complete website. Other thing is the content. Quality content means months of work. Let’s look how such projects may look like.

A huge site without any SEO campaign

As you can see, the visitors will visit the site, but this fact is the reult of content only. Without any serious link building campaign, only a few links will exist and they’ll be forgotten by search engines after 1-2 years. What will happen? Simply the new websites will take the positions which belong to our imaginary website. That’s why the number of visitors will be lower and lower. Without new visitors, the site will not have any future. There is very easy way how to avoid such scenario. Simply establish the links. If the site is of good quality, you’ll get new inbound links automatically from forums or related sites. Bear in mind, that you should work on the directory submission too. Don’t let your links sleep and add new content as well as the links number improve.

  • 3) Buy an existing website

This is probably the most dangerous scenario. You never know if people will like the new owner and his changes to the site. Basically, no-one sells a good earning website. On the other hand, if someone earns about $500 each day and some company wants to buy that website for about $2 000 000, then it’s easy to calculate that such earnings could be achieved in 4 000 days. So it’s very effective to sell the sites in that case. Of course, those companies plan to increase the income, so they’ll be earning more than you do. But who does care? You’ll be a millionaire and you could start another website in order to sell it later too.

What is the problem about buying an existing website, is that you don’t know anything about the future. The best solution is to track the information and use very detailed statistics about visitors, pageviews, referring sources and so on. Track such information for about 6 months and only if the trends are positive, try to buy such website. Personally, I’ve seen some websites with PR0 and no content selling for $10 and more. I wouldn’t buy this kind of websites, since they don’t mean anything to the search engines.

This is the best solution. It will mean some investments, but it will mean high income too. Basically, any large website is addicted to success. The only one problem is the popularity. Make sure that you don’t focus on the income during the first months. If you focus on the content quality, you’ll get more visitors soon. More visitors automatically means more links. Use some SEO services in order to get more links. If you’re capable to add new content on regular basis by yourself, then you’re lucky. Otherwise, you’ll need some writers in order to create new pages. Always use at least 2 writers, so you’ll see who writes better articles. Generally, better articles mean higher number of visitors and more popularity. What’s more, more people produce more content faster than 1 writer.

There are a few sub-scenarios. Let’s analyse them below.

An average SEO campaign

Fig 1.0

Fig 1.0 shows us the ideal situation. You’re paying for SEO services and the income raises. This model is generally the most possible, since professional SEO works should result in the case above. Please note, that you will need to pay the individuals or firms for their SEO effort always. It’s very unfortunate if you stop paying them just because you think that the top positions are unbreakable and that they won’t be attacked. It’s recommended to use the reliable persons for this purpose. Usually, after 6-12 months the investment come back and you’ll start earning. Let’s check the image below. Please note, that this image uses two Y axis (one for visitors, second for the income, real income and SEO payments).

An averane income with average SEO campaign

Fig 1.01

If you’re spending money on poor SEO services, you may pay less, but you won’t get top rankings and good income too. Let’s analyse how this scenario might look like on the following image.

A bad SEO campaign

Fig 1.1

As you can see, some visitors will come to your site, they will make you earn something, but you will never earn enough money to return the investment. This is why cheap SEO services aren’t recommended and shouldn’t be used. It’s better to pay more if you see the progress in the charts and trends. Let’s take a look how a successfull SEO campaign might look like. Please note, that the following case considers the same SEO firm or individuals working all the time, or using a better firm for more money.

Good earnings with SEO

Fig 1.11

As you can see, you’ll start earning the real income earlier than the first case (Fig 1.01) even though you invest more money into the SEO campaign. This idea leads us to the point of this article: „Invest if you see the positive trends. Don’t focus on the next days, but focus on the next months and years.“ This is proven fact, because of the following reasons:

  • 1) If you get really professional SEO services, you’ll get more visitors.
  • 2) If you get more visitors, you’ll earn more money.
  • 3) If you motivate the SEO firm with more money, they should do much better SEO for you.

Now, you should know why a few pages websites aren’t worth it. If you want to become a millionaire through the night, bet a lottery. If you want to run a serious business, create a website. If you’re lucky, you’ll be more rich than an ordinary lottery offers. What’s more, you’ll create a stable income for you and you’ll maybe give some work to other people.
