Organic SEO Services by Jan Hvizdak

I gave up development of the Cross-Linker plugin for WordPress as well as the Captcha Godfather plugin for WordPress because people are experiencing problems with compatibility. Well... I created these plugins, tested them, but I am not responsible for others' plugins nor for further development of WordPress. In fact, I hate WordPress and soon I will be upgrading this website and WordPress will be removed. Just one experience to show why I deeply hate WordPress: I've been commenting on blogs, but now I cannot. I cannot because about 50% of blogs return blank screen after submitting a comment. I don't know who fucked things up, but I know that without WordPress the world would be a better place. WordPress gave plenty of people a chance to blog. WordPress is also used for spamming purposes, is spammed and doesn't bring any additional value to the world. Plenty of crap blogs, unbelievable stories about how easy it's to make money blogging and such bullshits... WordPress is crap and am not going to use it any longer. It's the same story like with Windows OS. I had to remove it from my computer because it was fucking things as much as possible. I am a happy user of Linux for years now; No more Windows, no more WordPress. Consider quitting WordPress too. I am a coder so it's fucking easy for me to develop a core of my own blog, but even a "me not coder" can create some simple website which will replace WordPress shit. Oh, by the way... WordPress is very bad in terms of SEO. If you decide to donate, you're just saying thanks. All about donations and such things will be removed or modified as soon as I find some time to make some peace from the garbage left by WordPress.

Currently I am writing for blog at web-developers.net where I explain more about SEO, internet business, links and so on. Read why I am writing there. If you are using the Cross-Linker plugin for WordPress and if you want me to solve anything, then consider making a donation ($122 received until now; updated manually):

PayPerPost experience

OK, a few weeks ago I decided to try PayPerPost just for fun. Since I hate selling links and buying links as well, I was just interested in the thing as a whole. About 4-5 months ago I was a member of TextLinkAds as well for the same purpose; I asked the staff to delete my account about 2 weeks after I was accepted there (with another site of mine). However, the TLA thing was more serious than PayPerPost of course :) . Just earnings sucks… And the idea of selling links sucks much more than a few bucks per month. A man with daily income of about 100 dollars (or more) can’t be happy with $20 or $50 per month which come from selling links, can’t he? OK, so here’s the answer from PayPerPost which I received just a few minutes ago:

Dear Jan Hvizdak,

This is a notification to let you know that your blog, Organic SEO and traffic blog, has been rejected for the following reason(s):

——————————
Thank you for your blog submission!

It is cool to hear that my blog is kept on-line for pyramid schemes and lotteries :) . BTW, I do not bet at all when we are talking about lotteries. This blog is about search engine optimisation and I guess that PayPerPost team missed this point. Maybe they’re monkeys which are doing decisions based on random choice :) . Not maybe… Surely :) .

Why I do NOT sell links

The reasons why I do not sell links are really simple… Why should I give an advantage to anyone who is interested in acquiring easy links? Yeah, bought links are easy ones because they’re not hobby sites which tend to buy links; they’re shops the most. A shop with daily turn-over about $500 or $5000 can easily spend up to $1000 on links each month. Maybe even more. What seems to be a good secondary income for a web site’s owner, is just a funny thing for links buyers.

Even I link to other domains from time to time, such links are not sold at all. For instance, the target sites may be my friends’ sites or they may belong to my clients. When I am working for someone, I am not selling links. However, mentioning such sites on my own blog is just fun. Sometimes I can explain some SEO aspect there…

If you think that paid directories are bought links only, you may be wrong. Not every directory which asks money for listing is automatically a paid one. There are two (three) kinds of “paid” directories:

  1. Directories which ask money for review, but they don’t guarantee the successful approval
  2. Directories which don’t care about quality of the sites listed within and they approve every bought link
  3. Directories which don’t accept free submissions

Actually, the first case is the best optioin for every directory’ owner. Offering a free link along with paid reviews is worth a try especially if your directory’ queue is too long. Reviewing 200 or 2000 sites takes some time and those who want to be reviewed first should pay something in order to get this advantage. My own directory works just like this.

But let’s return back to paid links… If you own a quality web site, you’ll be probably contacted by your direct competitors in the matter of selling a link. They usually cover their goal into cool words about small advertisement. But as they reveal their offer, you’ll find it to be link buying only… Now picture yourself as a business’ owner. Would you like to see your competitor buying links and acquiring your positions? Hm, I wouldn’t like to do so. So why should I help anyone doing evil?

Submit your (my) website to search engines

What’s necessary to submit a website into search engines? Nothing! A couple of years ago it was the first thing which to start from, but submissions into search engines is useless nowadays. The reason? It’s all because of the fact that web spiders follow links. So instead of visiting 200 sites where 99% of them are not worth a visit anyway, get one or two simple links pointing to your website. If the pages where you acquired the links from are ranked normally, be sure that your site will be crawled and indexed by all major search engines soon. In general it usually takes from 1 to 14 days. Even if your new website was indexed in 1 month, you’re still doing well with it.

Being indexed in 1 day is not necessary! This idea is based on my personal experiences with Google for example. Let’s picture yourself with a new website related to web design. Would you think that a new website could get top rankings for the “web design” phrase 1 day or even 1 month after being indexed? The answer is simple; No. This is why you should focus on the quality of content and maybe advertising while your site is still young. If it didn’t work this way, then anyone could be no.1 in search engines.

Using automated tools for submissions is the worst option which you could select! Automated applications can cause a penalty for your site. Imagine a situation when your new website is just launched and before it can be indexed, it gets a penalty. A penalty will result in seeing your website in Google after some time (delayed). This time can be anything from 2 weeks up to 4 months! I’d recommend to use automated tools only if you knew that it protects you from being banned. For instance, so-called semi-automated tools may work this way: Every search engine’s “add url” page is opened in the browser, maybe some fields are filled, but the user must click on the “submit” button. This way has one great advantage; If the search engine uses the captcha thing, then only a human can recognise letters or numbers within. Said in a simple form, the search engine will not consider you to be spammer.

No matter if you came to this page from any search engine or from some referral source, if you own a new website, feel free to submit it into my own directory :) .

How big is the problem with made for ads (MFA) sites?

Made for ads sites are the biggest problem regarding pay per click advertisement. Their goal is to show other ads and because of this reason such sites can’t become really popular. And this is the thing why they can’t get organic traffic. So how could such sites get traffic? They are buying it. Buying must be cheap otherwise they wouldn’t profit. Who are such bastards buying traffic from? From AdSense advertisers for instance.

Just look at the chart below. It testifies the fact that you can even double your traffic, but your earnings may stay the same or they can even get worse! Please note that the following chart is based on ratio which is between 0 and 1. Maximum impressions can be 1 as well as earnings, CTR, etc. Also note the first 2-3 weeks when the effective earnings per 1000 impressions were much higher than later. It was because of the filter. It’s all up to the filter. If it’s effective, it helps you a lot. Bear in mind that every MFA filter should be renewed every 3 weeks, otherwise you will experience the same fall as I did.

How spammers find WP blogs

Are you still wondering how asshole licking spammers find your WP (usually the Multi-User version) so easily and that they spam it without any problem? If you are using the captcha plug-in, then you’re secured from bots, however you’re not safe from human spammers. Basically, their strategy is simple. They search this phrase for instance: inurl:wp-signup.php in Google. It’s so simple to do so, but it wastes their time :) . Fortunately. On the other hand they waste my own time too… Today I noticed that one big fat ass registered his blog on my fish blogs. Haha, those bastards even linked to their blog there from laser-hair-reFUCKIT!moval.gooFUCKIT!dfirefox.com. Naturally, I am checking new blogs about 3 times a day so I deleted it immediately :) .

Die spammers, die, die, die, die, die!

A guide how to increase the income from your web site

Nearly everyone who owns a web site probably tried to increase the income from it. If your web site is not earning any money yet, or if your site is earning only a few bucks each month, follow this simple guide in order to increase your income :) . It will work for sure. Don’t forget to check the last paragraph as well.

Step 1: Create a simple HTML layout. Please click on the image below in order to enlarge it.

Basic HTML layout

OK, now we should put some ad onto the page. Let’s start with a small link unit :) .

Step 2: Add the first AdSense ad. As previously, click on the image below, please.

Add 1 small AdSense link unit

Well, now we are not done at all. Who would click on that links unit? Even it looks like a navigation bar, people will have to click twice in order to make you earn some cents. So let’s go further and ad some text links unit.

Step 3: Add the first AdSense text links unit. Again, click on the image below in order to understand how it should look like :) .

Add 1 small AdSense text links unit

Hm… Now more people will click on our ads, won’t they? :) However, this is just a beginning. The 428×60 ads are not as effective as large ads are. But before we can add something bigger, let’s add a Google search button. It will earn some bucks for sure, so why shouldn’t it be on our site? :)

Step 4: Add the Google search button. Image is below…

Add the Google search button

Now our site looks more professional, doesn’t it? :) We have some ads, some search button. Are we done yet? No! Let’s test the large text link unit, say the largest ad format is suitable. It’s advantage is that man will see image instead of text links if any banner is available. Everyone knows that images have higher CTR (click through ratio), so why not to use it?

Step 5: Add some large advertisement. Image is below as usual…

Add the large AdSense advertisement

Hm, there is a lot of empty space below the latest ad, don’t you think so? OK, so let’s add something interesting there. Something what will bring us more clicks :) .

Step 6: Add the 160×600 text links unit. Check the snapshot below…

Add the large AdSense advertisement

Wow, now our site looks cool with those ads :) . Ads are everywhere. This will mean a lot of dollars, right? But I see some small place for another ad as well. Since we used 3 text links units, we must use the link unit only. But does anybody care? No. Let’s earn money, so put it there :) .

Before we can do the final update, we must analyse the “content integration” factor. Since ads don’t look like a natural like a natural part of our site yet, we should improve the content aspect. OK, let’s see what is the result…

Step 7: Finish the AdSense optimisation!

Finish the AdSense optimisation

Did we forget anything?

Hm… hm… hm… Ah, yes. Content. We have no useful content on the site :) . But does it really matter? I don’t think so, we have ads, we will earn tons of dollars. Yes, put AdSense everywhere and tell people to click on them :) . It must work for sure!

What is this page all about? I received many submissions of sites which look exactly like the thing above into my directory. I am wondering why those people spent too much time on submissions and not on building quality content along with quality web site. Naturally I rejected all such submissions, but today I found another one and so I decided to mention it here. The step 7 was added by myself, however it reflects the point of such web sites’ owners anyway.

Such sites are adjudged… They have no real chance to be successful. Fortunately!

Traffic stats

Here is a snapshot from Google Analytics for this blog.

Traffic from Google

I did no extra work, just submission into directories. The organic traffic is still pathetic, but it is getting a little better. Looks like I should get some really quality links now :) . I’ll publish more updates as time goes by.
