Organic SEO Services by Jan Hvizdak

I gave up development of the Cross-Linker plugin for WordPress as well as the Captcha Godfather plugin for WordPress because people are experiencing problems with compatibility. Well... I created these plugins, tested them, but I am not responsible for others' plugins nor for further development of WordPress. In fact, I hate WordPress and soon I will be upgrading this website and WordPress will be removed. Just one experience to show why I deeply hate WordPress: I've been commenting on blogs, but now I cannot. I cannot because about 50% of blogs return blank screen after submitting a comment. I don't know who fucked things up, but I know that without WordPress the world would be a better place. WordPress gave plenty of people a chance to blog. WordPress is also used for spamming purposes, is spammed and doesn't bring any additional value to the world. Plenty of crap blogs, unbelievable stories about how easy it's to make money blogging and such bullshits... WordPress is crap and am not going to use it any longer. It's the same story like with Windows OS. I had to remove it from my computer because it was fucking things as much as possible. I am a happy user of Linux for years now; No more Windows, no more WordPress. Consider quitting WordPress too. I am a coder so it's fucking easy for me to develop a core of my own blog, but even a "me not coder" can create some simple website which will replace WordPress shit. Oh, by the way... WordPress is very bad in terms of SEO. If you decide to donate, you're just saying thanks. All about donations and such things will be removed or modified as soon as I find some time to make some peace from the garbage left by WordPress.

Currently I am writing for blog at web-developers.net where I explain more about SEO, internet business, links and so on. Read why I am writing there. If you are using the Cross-Linker plugin for WordPress and if you want me to solve anything, then consider making a donation ($122 received until now; updated manually):

The doors.txt;6 spam

Filed under: — admin @ 8:26 am

During the last days I started receiving the doors.txt;6 spam. Basically, it is not any dangerous thing because it doesn’t contain any link or harmful text, however it is not wanted by webmasters. In my opinion it was designed to test the anti spam filters.

If you run under PHP, you can avoid such attempts very easily. Take your text variable as $text. Then just use this code:

if ( (strlen($text)>4) && (substr_count($text,” “)>3) )
{

}

As you can see, it is very simple restriction which tests the input for empty spaces and for it’s length. As we know, messages should contain empty spaces, otherwise they’re spam only. Who would send you a one-word message? This has no sense. In addition, check the string’s length. The length factor has no relation to our “doors.txt;6″ spam, but it prevents you from the most used spamming; submitting forms without inserting any information into them.

Do you want to see how many vulnerable and poorly secured web forms on the web exist? Just check this query! Wonderful!

The best way how to get banned from the Google AdSense

Filed under: — admin @ 2:08 pm

Today I found this stupid and silly project posted by some really freaky person. Let’s read it, it’s below:

Hello,

I’m looking for a REPUTABLE programmer for this project. Please don’t apply unless you have tons of positive feedback from different users.

Here’s the specs:

I’m not concerned what language the following program is written in, as long as it works well…

I need a program that will automatically click adsense ads on websites specified by URLS.

Here’s the tricky part: This program MUST have a way to constantly change it’s proxy and footprint so it will not be detected by google. To many anonymous proxies might be a giveway, that’s why I need someone knowledeable with adsense. There must also be a way to specify the CTR (click through rate) for each URL that this program will be visiting and clicking. All clicks must be at random intervals. When this program clicks on an ad, it must also surf the opened site for a random number of seconds to look like a real user.

This program must be UNDETECTABLE by Google, so you need to understand adsense thoroughly to make this program for me.

The programmer will make this program only for me, and will not sell the code to anyone else. It is important that my Adsense account does not get shut down for click fraud.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks!

I don’t think that such “project” requires any comment at all. But anyway,

  1. How could anyone outside Google prove that such application is not detectable?
  2. Does that stupid webmaster know that Google doesn’t show ads if the site is loaded through proxy? Public proxies are mainly banned from displaying Google AdSense ads.
  3. Would you sell such application to anyone else if you created it already?
  4. Ah yeah, that webmaster (the person who posted that project) had no feedback when he opened that shit. :)

This is just another pathetic try how to get clients. If you take a close look at their site, you’ll find PageRank 0 there. Created on 26/08/2006 (Yes, 2006!!!) it should be ranked well for some phrases and should have some quality links poiniting to the domain. Does it have? No! My link popularity tool saysit has 11 links only!

Stay away from such firms!!! They are CHEATERS! BTW, they offered me the SEO service for my aqua-fish.net which has got about 74 000 visits during the last 31 days, the major part of those visits is from the USA.

The power of link building

Filed under: — admin @ 11:13 am

During the past few days I visited some blogs and left my comments there. Naturally, nothing spammy. My goal was to check how Google reacts on anchor text. I didn’t care about the rel=’nofollow’ attribute at all.

My goal was: 1-st position for “jan from aquarium” (this is just a funny phrase, nothing serious) with my aquarium chiller article.

Today I checked this query and got surprised :) a little bit. This just proves how Google likes the anchor text. Naturally, competitive phrases require more than few links and few days to see the result.

My new project

Filed under: — admin @ 10:43 pm

Today I received a CD from jjphoto.dk with images of freshwater aquarium fish, plants and saltwater aquarium fish as well. So that soon I will launch a new database devoted to saltwater aquarium fish. I created a sub-domain http://saltwater.aqua-fish.net/ for this purpose.

Trusted sites in Google

Filed under: — admin @ 2:18 pm

A friend of mine asked me about sites which have more results shown in Google. Something like this link. Here below is my answer…

It’s my dream to get such listing in Google ;) . These sites are called “trusted sites” and no-one but Google knows how to get such “mark”. It’s a matter of quality and it’s believed that it’s calculated through algorithms. However, only a few sites per topic can become trusted.

I did a small research on trusted sites some time ago and found it really difficult to explain. In my opinion the age is very important factor (I’d bet on that min. 4-5 years are required) and links are important as well. Of course, content too.

Here are things which I already know about trusted sites:

  1. Have at least 1 000 internal pages on the site,
  2. Have at least 1 DMOZ listing, and Yahoo listing is beneficial,
  3. Have at least 1 000 incoming links to the site,
  4. Have many incoming links to internal pages,
  5. Be mentioned at least 5 000 times on the web (search for the domain name; slsp.sk for instance)
  6. Having dynamic or static pages doesn’t matter at all,
  7. Having sub-domains doesn’t matter as well,
  8. Having a site in two or more languages helps.

I have seen trusted sites which were mentioned only 5 000 times on the web, but also sites like findaproperty.com which have been mentioned about 250 000 times on the web (this is something what man can’t get through the night).

As you can see, my aqua-fish.net has about 26 000 references when you Google for “aqua-fish.net” (with or without quotes), has 5 100 links (based on Google Sitemaps data) pointing to the site (homepage+internal pages), 2 289 links poiniting to he home page, has 20 050 links between internal pages (really huge number! :) ), has 2 DMOZ listings, has about 6 listings in Wikipedia (2 listings in English Wiki), but it is still not a trusted site. I think that it’s caused by the age (it will be 2 years old on 10/10/2007).

So basically, becoming a trusted site is very difficult and it’s a process for long years. It’s not SEO only, but it is mainly “giving as much information as possible to the visitors” + providing very precise information, selling outstanding services. Simply the best from every corner.

Hire two-three professional writers who are skilled at the topic, 2-3 bloggers and you have a chance to become a trusted site, but there is no guarantee. Results with SEO are more predictable than efforts created with goal to become a trusted site.

It’s like lottery. The chance is really small, but exists.
