HTML template – clean style
My first free html template is using very clean and simple code. It’s easy to implement within your site and it’s easily customizable. This template is completly XHTML and CSS valid.
If you want to customize the colours, you will not need to change the images. They contain transparent background, so they will adapt to new colours.
How to use this template:
- 1) After downloading, unpack the source files and copy them into the desired folder.
- 2) Index.php contains only 1 piece of PHP, so if you don’t want to show the timestamp each time the page is loaded, simply remove that line. You’ll easily find it at the bottom of the index.php’s source code.
- 3) It’s recommended to open this template from a server (localhost or any other web server which supports PHP). Otherwise, you’ll need to change the index.php’s PHP extension to HTML and you’ll need to remove the PHP code from the source (as above). It’s easy.
- 4) The menu is customizable too. Simple create new categories, replicate the index.php and name it differently (e.g. about-me.php). Nextly, place a link to this file from the menu.
- 5) You can add any content very easily. The same goes to images and other HTML elements.
